| Comments: | The Larkin Cemetery is a medium to large family cemetery located about 1/2 mile off Wellington Road. An investigation of the cemetery was made 11 Feb 1998 with the following notes taken. The approximate size of the cemetery is about 70 feet along the east and west sides, and approximately 90 feet on the north and south sides. These measurements were determined by stepping off the sides without the use of any accepted measuring device. At that time two stones, consistent with grave marking stones, were observed about two feet beyond the west side of what is now considered to be the boundary of the cemetery.
There were many marked graves, but the only inscription was that of Susan Luckett, faintly shown, born October 12, 1824 and died April 9, 1899. |
