It is unknown if this is a cemetery with a conventional internment or if this is a memorial stone and ashes were spread in the area. The stone has been in place since 2011 but the first possible burial was in late 2015.
The Caruthers family are the developers of Belmont Bay and owners of the former Osprey's Landing Golf Club. The golf course closed in November 2015. The property is used as an event space to host weddings and other events.
